Seattle police investigate double shooting in Pioneer Square

SEATTLE – Seattle police are investigating a double shooting in Pioneer Square.

The shooting early Wednesday left one person dead at the scene and another died later at Harborview Medical Center.

KOMO-TV reported witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots fired, then saw people flee in a car.

Downtown streets in the vicinity were closed for hours during the police investigation.
