Scammers impersonate closed Spokane car dealership

Scammers are impersonating a Spokane car dealership that closed in 2011, according to a news release from the Better Business Bureau.

Cost Low Automotive, at 3104 E. Sprague Ave. closed in 2011, however, the website claims to still be selling cheap vehicles. The former owner of the dealership confirmed that his business is no longer at that location, the release said.

The state business licensing website indicates no dealership is doing business at that address, according to the release. Additionally, the IP address associated with the dealership is in the Ukraine and the owner’s information is hidden.
