OOST: Amador offers fresh outlook

Out of Stater Tater (RE: Letter: Who is Paul Amador ): Sure, (HD 4 candidate Paul Amador) hasn’t lived in Cd’A all his life, but he has lived in Idaho longer than, say … Chico Schindelbeck, and another gentleman who is CURRENTLY serving in the legislature from this area, Don Cheatham. Funny that the wingnuts all of a sudden care about how long a candidate has lived here. Paul is plenty qualified. At Republican gatherings, we used to look at all the blue-hairs in the room and say, “The lack of young people in our party is a problem.” Now someone young, intelligent and energetic joins and steps up to take on a position of leadership, and people in our party are saying “This is a problem.” Just two examples of the hypocrisy of the Rally Right wingnuts in charge of the party right now.

Question: Why doesn’t time of residency mean much to GOP primary voters?
