4th Idaho Gives launches today

Idaho donors will have 24 hours to open their wallets to hundreds of nonprofits and charities in the fourth annual “Idaho Gives” today. The one-day only fundraising blitz is statewide; the goal is to get as many people as possible to donate to a cause of their choice. The fundraising for charities — ranging from Idaho Youth Ranch to the Idaho Diaper Bank and the Boise Rescue Mission — will happen almost entirely on the web at idahogives.org. The day of giving will coincide with several statewide charity events also planned for Thursday. Events include an all-day celebration party in Boise, an open house in Coeur d’Alene sponsored by Idaho Drug Free Youth and a brush clean up in Idaho Falls/ AP via Eye on Boise.
