HARRINGTON, Lewis Edward

Of Spangle, Washington passed away May 1, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 10, 1933 in Curlew, Washington to Ralph and Floy (Marquam) Harrington and was a graduate of Spangle High School, class of 1952.
Lewis was a foreman for Burlington Northern Railroad and a busdriver for STA.
He was a lifelong traveler and loved motorhoming and riding his motorcycle across the country.
Lewis also enjoyed boating, water and snow skiing.
He was always tinkering, building or passing on his skills to others.
He is survived by his children, Shawn E. Harrington, Lewis C. Harrington and Tamara I. Harrington; sister, Louise Hartman; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Lorraine F. Harrington; daughter, Shannon A. Lantis; brothers, Donald and Chester Harrington; grandchildren Alyssa M. and Gregory A. Harrington.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at the Spangle Community Church.
Burial will follow at the Spangle Cemetery.
