Project Update: Four Corners
Dennis Grant, city of Coeur d’Alene manager on Four Corners project, provides the following update:
Cameron Reilly Concrete is finishing up the underground utilities this week and Avista is completing installation of the power and natural gas lines that will serve the Carousel site.
Cameron Reilly scheduled their construction work in a manner that will allow north bound Park Drive to be
paved Friday, May 6 and open to the public on the afternoon of Monday, May 9. Cameron Reilly recognized the circulation importance of this street and proposed to finish it early and the City gladly worked with them to make it happen. There will be on-going roadside landscape work so the public should be cautious. Southbound Park Drive to Fort Ground Drive will remain closed since there is no outlet.
The City and Cameron Reilly met with the Carousel building contractor, Ginno Construction today and are working together to expedite installation of the building foundations, providing Ginno can quickly secure a foundation building permit.
Next week, sidewalk and curb work will start on Fort Ground Drive and will move quickly into the new parking lot and Memorial Plaza.
