‘Idaho Gives’ raises $1.05M in single-day, statewide fundraising blitz

“Idaho Gives,” yesterday’s one-day, statewide fundraising blitz for Idaho charities, raised $1.05 million, organizers report. “We are exceedingly grateful to our sponsors and partners for leading the way and motivating greater giving and generous donors who provided more than 13,000 donations,”  said Amy Little, executive director of the Idaho Nonprofit Center. It’s the fourth year of the 24-hour event; this year’s tally was slightly below last year’s record of $1.08 million. Little said “Idaho Gives” will be back next year; it’s set for May 4, 2017. More than 800 nonprofits participated this year.
