Education

Cynthia Faux has been named a recipient of Washington State University’s 2016 Libraries’ Excellence Award in recognition of her consistent support for the WSU Libraries. Faux works as a clinical assistant professor in the department of integrative physiology and neuroscience at the university.

Finance

David Armstrong has been named a recipient of the 2016 Small Hub Airport Finance Professional of the Year in recognition of his knowledge of financial management, leadership and contributions to the airport community. Armstrong is the director of finance at Spokane International Airport.

Idaho Independent Bank has made a $25,000 donation to the North Idaho College Foundation. The donation will provide necessary equipment for the programs at NIC’s new Career and Technical Education Facility in Rathdrum.

The following employees received Banner Bank’s 2015 Banner’s Best award for providing outstanding customer service and exceeding their professional goals: Cindy Baracco; Marcy Bennett; Story Comer; Bret Gelhausen; Kelly Kampmann; Christi Kile; Nora Knight; Bobbie Wheeler.

Health care

Chad Salter has been named as executive director at Alderwood Manor. Salter completed his administrator training at Royal Park Health and Rehabilitation and previously worked as a health care consultant for Huron Consulting.

Providence Sacred Heart Epilepsy Center has earned Level 3 Epilepsy Center accreditation from the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. The two year accreditation demonstrates that the center has the professional expertise and facilities to provide the highest level medical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy.

Insurance

Matt Richards has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. Richards is a senior commercial insurance underwriter.

Miscellaneous

Terynn Baker has joined Shine Blow Dry Bar as lead stylist. Previously, Baker was with Primp and Blow in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The owner of Spokane Cleaning Authority, Mark Silver, has been elected the national chairman of the Cleaning Authority’s franchise advisory council.

Non-profit

Colette Renninger has been named a recipient of the 2015 Management Excellence Award from the National Council of SourceAmerica Employers in recognition of excellent leadership and management. Renninger is the director of operations at Skils’kin.

Judi Baggarley has joined the board of directors for the Blood Center Foundation. Baggarley is the senior director of talent management at Itron.

Retail

Zak Designs has hired Seth Shepard as a product engineer on the product development team. Shepard has more than 10 years of experience in his field.

Etailz has hired Jordan Kindle, Clark Hannahs and Dianne Dahlke as warehouse coordinators, Rene Boren as a Perispect account coordinator, Ashlee Nelson as a search engine optimization coordinator and Ryan Shumate as an onboarding coordinator.
