Three women killed in wrong-way crash on Interstate 15
GREAT FALLS – Three women were killed when a vehicle traveling north in the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 collided with a semitrailer west of Great Falls.
The Montana Highway Patrol reported the women were in a sport utility vehicle traveling the wrong way shortly before 3 a.m. Monday when the vehicle hit the southbound semi.
The patrol tells KFBB-TV that the women in the SUV were not wearing seat belts and one was thrown from the vehicle. Their names have not been released.
The driver and passenger in the semi suffered minor injuries.
