$$$ rolls in to unseat anti-IFF incumbent

Jason West, a chiropractor from Pocatello, has raised a whopping $42,986 for his run in the GOP primary against Rep. Kelley Packer, R-McCammon, who’s been targeted this year by the Idaho Freedom Foundation after she sharply criticized the lobbying group. Packer is an office manager and a second-term state representative whom West derides on his campaign website as a “career politician.” She served on the McCammon City Council and as Bannock County GOP chair before being elected to the House in 2012/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise.
