Armed men steal money, cigarettes

Two armed, masked men robbed the Hico Village at 1201 N. Barker Road shortly after 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Witness said the two men, both described as white males, entered the store wearing face masks. They pointed their guns at an employee and demanded cash and cigarettes. They ran away on foot but may have gotten into a dark colored SUV, possible a dark green or black Jeep Cherokee or Ford Explorer, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

The first suspect is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and was wearing a gray hoodie and shorts. He may have reddish frizzy hair. The second suspect is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, vest, cowboy hat, blue jeans and dark boots.
