Liberty Caucus backs Sims

I received 10 — count ‘em 10 — political fliers in the mail Thursday, including this one from state Rep. Kathy Sims, who is a darling of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Idaho PAC. Sims had no problem filling out a prerequisite questionnaire of 60 questions to earn the Liberty Caucus backing. Coeur d’Alene Press Editor Mike Patrick should take note. Sims refused to fill out a candidates’ questionnaire for the Voters Guide circulated by the Coeur d’Alene Press. BTW, commenter Sara Meyer points out, that the Liberty Caucus is backing Sims for the wrong House District. She’s in District 4 (Coeur d’Alene) instead of 3 (Post Falls area).
