Wedding anniversary: Spokane Valley couple will celebrate their 60th anniversary

James and Geraldine Porter plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and gathering.

Hosts for the event will include their children and spouses: Kay and Jay Steward, of Spokane Valley; Douglas Porter, of Ludington, Michigan; and Lori and Ronald Porter, of Athol.

The couple were married May 20, 1956, in Muscatine, Iowa. They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
