Police searching for bank robber

A robbery was reported at the Banner Bank in the 4400 block of North Division shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday and police are looking for the suspect.

Employees said the man demanded cash and ran south on foot. Police officers responded within three minutes but were unable to locate the man, according to a police news release.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 30’s about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build and a beard. He was wearing sunglasses, a black sweatshirt and jeans. Anyone with information about his identity is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
