Lake Stevens woman shot over lawn mowing argument

LAKE STEVENS, Wash. – An argument over lawn mowing in Lake Stevens led to a shooting that sent a 49-year-old woman to the hospital.

The Snohomish County sheriff’s office says the woman arrived home to find her neighbor mowing the law on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities told the Daily Herald they disagreed about where he should be mowing and when the argument became heated, he pulled out a gun and shot her in the abdomen.

The woman was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. The man remained was detained for questioning and the sheriff’s office is continuing the investigation.
