Junior guard Silas Melson drained a 3-pointer to give the Zags their first lead with 8:42 remaining. GU had rallied to tie the game three times before Melson hit the go-ahead 3-pointer. Melson connected on another big 3 with 5:30 left to extend Gonzaga’s lead to 68-59.
