PULLMAN – After dispatching the Cougars, Washington coach Chris Petersen and multiple UW players were asked if they had a preference: USC or Colorado in the Pac-12 championship?

To a man, the Pac-12 North champs said they didn’t care.

“It does not matter,” safety Budda Baker said. “We believe it doesn’t matter. We’re going to celebrate today and then get back and we’ll see who we play (Saturday).”

Utah plays at Colorado this afternoon at 4:30. If the Buffaloes win, they’ll face UW at 6 p.m. on Friday in Santa Clara. A Utah win means the Huskies will face USC.

“I’m just glad the Dawgs are there,” Petersen said. “Whoever shows up, we’ll prepare and hopefully play our best game of the year.”
