Iowa State’s guards vs. Gonzaga’s defense

The Cyclones’ four leading scorers are senior guards. Monte Morris is a preseason All-American. Deonte Burton, a 6-foot-5, 250-pounder, is a tough matchup. Matt Thomas and Naz Mitrou-Long are accomplished 3-point shooters.

Silas Melson, Josh Perkins, Jordan Mathews and Nigel Williams-Goss, with help from the bigs, will try to limit the production of ISU’s talented guard line.
