Washington State’s volleyball team learned on Sunday that it had received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and will play Big East runner-up Marquette in a first-round match on Thursday in Madison, Wisconsin.

No. 3 seed Wisconsin will play Howard in the other match in Madison.

This is the 11th trip to the NCAA Tournament for WSU and the first under sixth-year head coach Jen Greeny.

The Cougars were one of eight Pac-12 teams to get into the tournament, including conference champion Washington, which will host Texas A&A Corpus Christi in Seattle on Friday. Also playing in Seattle are Kentucky and Colorado State.

The other Pac-12 teams in the tournament are Stanford, UCLA, Arizona, Oregon, USC and Utah.
