Pac-12 coach has high praise for the Cougars

PULLMAN – John Canzano is a columnist at The Oregonian and a radio host at 750-AM radio and 102.9-FM radio in Portland. In those capacities, he frequently speaks with college football coaches from around the country.

Just last week, Washington State coach Mike Leach appeared on Canzano’s Bald Faced Truth show, as he has many times before.

Well, Canzano says he spoke with an anonymous Pac-12 coach, who had some thoughts on WSU’s 51-33 win over Oregon on Saturday.

Canzano tweeted out an interesting nugget on Tuesday morning.

“Pac 12 head coach who saw film of Washington State vs. Oregon told me Cougars may not have ever played harder under Mike Leach,” read Canzano’s tweet.
