Head-on crash kills 2 people north of Pasco

PASCO, Wash. – A teen and a man in his 20s died when their vehicles collided head-on north of Pasco.

The Tri-City Herald reported 17-year-old Alexander West and 24-year-old Vitaliy Prishko died early Thursday at the scene.

Franklin County Sheriff Jim Raymond said it’s not clear which direction each driver was heading on Taylor Flats Road when one crossed the center line.

Raymond said both were driving about 60 mph and neither wore seat belts.

Franklin County sheriff’s deputies and the Washington State Patrol are investigating.
