Meeting to focus on proposed golf course site plan

The Painted Hills Preservation Association is holding a meeting on Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at Horizon Middle School, 3915 S. Pines Road.

The group is opposed to the proposed development of the former Painted Hills Golf Course, and wants to talk to neighbors about what it’s achieved so far.

The meeting will include a presentation of information gathered from Spokane County and Spokane Valley, as well as opportunities to volunteer with the group for those interested.
