Rallying for the sheriff

Showing support: Supporters of Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich hold a rally Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, in front of the Spokane Valley City Hall before a council meeting. Knezovich is not up for election but has recently called on area Republicans to withdraw their support from state Rep. Matt Shea, R-Spokane Valley, after Shea accused Knezovich of covering up information related to a triple murder and arson in north Spokane last year. The Facebook group, We Support Sheriff Ozzie, formed in response to those allegations. (Colin Mulvany / The Spokesman-Review)
