Spokane’s seesaw of a hockey season continues Friday as the Chiefs welcome the Western Hockey League U.S. Division rival Everett Silvertips to the Spokane Arena in the first of a three-game homestand.

The Chiefs (2-4-0-0, 4 points) are currently in last place in the division and have yet to string two consecutive wins together. A night after 3-1 win at Seattle on Tuesday, the Chiefs got drilled 6-1 on Wednesday at Kamloops while working on only a few hours sleep.

The Chiefs traveled home Thursday and face the Silvertips (6-1-0-1, 13 points) Friday at 7:05 p.m. at the Spokane Arena.

Then on Saturday, the Chiefs take on the Portland Winterhawks (6-3-1-0, 14 points) at 7:05. Portland currently leads the division and is in second place in the Western Conference.

Spokane closes out its homestand against Everett on Tuesday.
