College basketball: Idaho men selected second in Big Sky preseason coaches’ poll

Idaho, which returns its top five scorers from last season, was selected No. 2 in the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball preseason coaches’ poll, the conference announced Friday.

The Vandals, who finished in third place in the conference at 12-6 last season, received one first-place vote and 104 points. Big Sky defending champion Weber State received seven first-place votes and 114 points.

Idaho was tabbed third in the media’s preseason poll, behind Weber State and Montana.

Eastern Washington was tabbed tied for fifth in the media poll with 121 points and seventh by the coaches with 56 points.
