Katie Bischoff scored on a free kick from 10 yards outside the box for a golden goal that gave Whitworth a 1-0 upset over Puget Sound in Spokane on Sunday.

Bischoff’s goal in the 95th minute was her third of the season for the Pirates (6-8, 5-5 Northwest) while Sienna Tanner made four saves against the Loggers (10-2-2, 7-1-2) for her third shutout.

Northern Arizona (6-7-3, 3-2-2 Big Sky) handed Eastern Washington (10-2-3, 4-1-2) a 3-1 defeat in Flagstaff, Arizona, the Eagles’ first loss in their last 11 games.

Chloe Williams scored for EWU, her 11th goal, in the 77th minute to tie the match, but the Lumberjacks scored in the 79th and 89th to wrap up the victory.
