GU’s Williams-Goss named to Cousy watch list
Mon., Oct. 17, 2016

Gonzaga junior Nigel Williams-Goss is one of 20 players on the Bob Cousy Award watch list.
Williams-Goss, who sat out last season after transferring from Washington, is the only representative from the West Coast Conference. The Pac-12 has three on the list, including Husky freshman Markelle Fultz. Washington visits Gonzaga on Dec. 7.
Kentucky’s Tyler Ulis won the award, given to the nation’s top point guard, in 2016.
Williams-Goss averaged 15.6 points, 5.9 assists and 4.7 rebounds while earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2015.
