Police arrested 24-year-old Anthony Gallo on suspicion of robbing and tying up three men Friday in an Indian Trail neighborhood home..
The homeowner told police that he and his two roommates were working on his car in his garage in the 3900 block of North Indian Trail Road when Gallo arrived around 5 a.m. Gallo was reportedly upset because the homeowner had turned over a gun to police that Gallo had hid in his home, according to court documents.
Gallo and a second man, who is not identified in court documents, held the three men at gunpoint and forced them to put guns and other valuables into the homeowner’s car, court documents say. The three victims were then tied up with electrical tape and Gallo and the second suspect left with the homeowner’s car.
One of the victims had a Leatherman tool on his belt and was able to cut himself and his companions free.
Police tracked stolen cell phones to find Gallo at a home in the 1000 block of West Augusta Avenue on Monday.
