Federal drug trafficking case nets third guilty plea in Coeur d’Alene

From staff reports

A third person has pleaded guilty in Coeur d’Alene to an alleged, multistate drug trafficking organization.

Augustine Jackson, 32, of Williston, North Dakota, pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to distribute heroin, oxycodone and methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office for Idaho.

Jackson admitted was part of a group that sold illegal drugs in Idaho, Eastern Washington, Montana and North Dakota. She sold and transported drugs and made sure profits went to the appropriate co-conspirator, according to her plea.

Co-defendants Geena Lauren Milho, 25, of Williston, North Dakota, and Sherlann Simon, 34, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, previously pleaded guilty to related charges in the case.

Jackson faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million when sentenced March 7, 2017, in U.S. District Court.
