Chelsea Clinton makes campaign stop in Seattle

From wire reports

SEATTLE – Chelsea Clinton returned to Seattle to urge Washingtonians to support Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her running mate, Tim Kaine.

Chelsea Clinton held a get-out-the-vote rally at Town Hall Seattle on Saturday afternoon. U.S. Sen. Patty Murray joined her at the event.

She told stories about people who have told her that terrible things will happen if Republican candidate Donald Trump wins the race in November.

Clinton said three things are fueling Trumps’ support. One is concerns about the economy and another is a basic lack of understanding about how the government works.

She said part of his success has come by tapping into racism, fear and other negative behavior. She said: “I don’t think there can be a compromise for bigotry.”

Clinton put in plugs for all of the Democratic candidates who are running in Washington state.
