Pakootas puts people first

Enough already. As Shawn Vestal articulated so well in his column (Oct. 12), Republicans must demonstrate political courage and renounce Trump; his behavior is beyond all boundaries. That spotlight shines brightly now on Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Her actions demonstrate that she will do anything for her party. But will she have the courage to confront this bombastic misogynist for who he is? Certainly unfit for office.

We have a great choice: Joe Pakootas has a lifelong record of strength, achievement and leadership. Pakootas will put the people of the 5th District first with integrity and thoughtful intelligence we can count on.
