Central Valley boys cross country team moves to No. 1 in state poll

The Central Valley boys cross country team moved atop the State 4A rankings for the first time this season.

Central Valley jumped ahead of Tahoma in rankings released Sunday. Lewis and Clark is seventh.

In the girls, Lewis and Clark continued at No. 2 with CV eighth and Mead ninth.

In 3A, the North Central boys remained in first and the NC girls stayed in third.

The West Valley boys are seventh and Pullman 10th in 2A while the Pullman girls are sixth.

In 1A, the Deer Park boys remained in first and Riverside stayed in second. Lakeside and Medical Lake are fifth and sixth respectively. In the girls, Riverside is second, Deer Park third, Lakeside fifth and Colville sixth.

In 2B/1B, Asotin, Northwest Christian and St. George’s boys are second, third and fifth and Springdale is sixth. In the girls, NWC, Asotin and Reardan are third, fourth and fifth.
