Deshaun Watson had 430 yards of total offense and third-ranked Clemson held off No. 12 Florida State 37-34 on Saturday night in Tallahasee, Florida.

The junior completed 27 of 43 passes for 378 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions. His 34-yard pass to Jordan Leggett with 2:02 remaining gave Clemson the lead. Watson also had 52 yards rushing on 17 carries, and Leggett had 122 yards on five receptions.

It is the second straight game that Watson has had over 400 yards of offense against Florida State. He had 404 yards last year in a 23-13 victory. He is the first quarterback to beat Florida State in consecutive seasons since Oklahoma’s Landry Jones in 2010-11.

Wayne Gallman had 82 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns to help the Tigers (8-0, 5-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) extend their regular-season winning streak to 22 games.

The Seminoles (5-3, 2-3) fell short despite Dalvin Cook’s career-high four touchdowns. The junior had 136 of his 169 yards in the second half and had two touchdown runs of 40-plus yards.

(2) Michigan 32, Michigan State 23: Amara Darboh caught eight passes for a career-high 165 yards, and De’Veon Smith ran for two touchdowns to lift the Wolverines over the Spartans in a rivalry game in East Lansing, Michigan.

The Wolverines scored every time they had the ball in the first half and beat the Spartans (2-6, 0-5) for only the second time in the last nine meetings. Michigan avenged last year’s loss to Michigan State, in which the Spartans (2-6, 0-5) scored the winning touchdown on the final play when the Wolverines botched a punt.

Michigan State went on to a Big Ten title and a national semifinal appearance after that dramatic victory, but this season it’s Michigan that’s in the national title hunt. The Wolverines were heavy favorites to win and they trailed only briefly in the first quarter.

(5) Louisville 32, Virginia 25: Lamar Jackson floated a 29-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen Smith with 13 seconds remaining and the Cardinals survived a frenetic finish to beat the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Jackson’s fourth touchdown pass kept the Cardinals (7-1, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) in the College Football Playoff picture, and couldn’t have hurt the Heisman Trophy frontrunner’s candidacy. Virginia (2-6, 1-3) had scored with 1:57 remaining and used a 2-point conversion to take a 25-24 lead.

(6) Ohio State 24, Northwestern 21: Curtis Samuel ran for a 3-yard touchdown with 9:43 left to give the Buckeyes a lead and J.T. Barrett converted two key third downs on a game-sealing drive to lift OSU over the Wildcats in Evanston, Illinois.

After being upset by Penn State last week, the Buckeyes’ offense struggled against another multi-touchdown underdog. The Buckeyes (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) punted on five straight drives in one stretch, but responded to Northwestern (4-4, 3-2) tying it at 17 with a touchdown drive, capped by Samuel.

(11) Wisconsin 23, (7) Nebraska 17: Dare Ogunbowale scored on an 11-yard run in overtime, and the Badgers held in Madison, Wisconsin, handing the Cornhuskers their first loss of the season.

The Badgers (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten) stopped Nebraska (7-1, 4-1) on fourth-and-8 from the 23 after defensive back D’Cota Dixon swatted away a pass to the end zone from Tommy Armstrong Jr. intended for Stanley Morgan Jr.

Texas 35, (8) Baylor 34: Trent Domingue kicked a 39-yard field goal with 46 seconds remaining and the Longhorns (4-4, 2-3 Big 12) upset the Bears (6-1, 3-1) in Austin, Texas.

Domingue, who transferred this season from LSU, missed a critical field goal during a loss at Kansas State last week. He had three PATs blocked by Oklahoma State earlier in the season.

Oklahoma State 37, (10) West Virginia 20: Mason Rudolph threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score to help the Cowboys (6-2, 4-1) upset the Mountaineers (6-1, 3-1) in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Wyoming 30, (13) Boise State 28: Defensive tackle Chase Appleby sacked Shadle Park product Brett Rypien and forced a fumble that bounced out of the back of the end zone for a safety with 1:25 left to give the Cowboys (6-2, 4-0 Mountain West) an upset victory over the Broncos (7-1, 3-1) in Laramie, Wyoming.

(14) Florida 24, Georgia 10: Jordan Scarlett scored for the sixth consecutive game, Antonio Callaway had the first rushing touchdown of his career and the Gators (6-1, 4-1 SEC) used a dominant defensive effort to beat the Bulldogs (4-4, 2-4) in Gainseville, Florida.

(15) Auburn 40, Mississippi 29: Kamryn Pettway ran for a career-high 236 yards and a touchdown, Sean White threw for 247 yards and the Tigers (6-2, 4-1 SEC) beat the Rebels (3-5, 1-4) in Oxford, Mississippi.

(16) Oklahoma 56, Kansas 3: Baker Mayfield passed for 236 yards and four touchdowns and the Sooners (6-2, 5-0 Big 12) overcame a sluggish start to rout the Jayhawks (1-7, 0-5) in Norman, Oklahoma, moving into sole possession of first place in the Big 12.

South Carolina 24, (18) Tennessee 21: Jake Bentley threw for two touchdowns, Rico Dowdle ran for 127 yards and another score and the Gamecocks (4-4, 2-4 SEC) handed the Volunteers their third straight loss in Columbia, South Carolina.

(24) Penn State 62, Purdue 24: Saquon Barkley ran for 207 yards and two touchdowns, Trace McSorley threw three scoring passes, and the Nittany Lions (6-2, 4-1 Big Ten) used a 24-point third quarter to breeze past the Boilermakers (3-5, 1-4) in West Lafayette, Indiana.
