Women’s soccer: NIC tops Treasure Valley, EWU in scoreless draw at Omaha

Meg Lowery took a pass from Sadie Schmeling and scored the only goal of the match and North Idaho College took a 1-0 NWAC soccer victory over Treasure Valley in Ontario, Oregon.

Tigan Horton and Kinzie Hunter made four saves each for the Cardinals (4-1-0, 2-0-0) with Horton thwarting a penalty kick. Treasure Valley fell to 4-3-1, 0-2-0.

Eastern Washington (5-1-1) finished its seven-match road trip with a 0-0 draw with host Omaha 2-4-1) in Nebraska. EWU outshot the Mavericks 19-10 with 10 shot on goal. Hadley Bezon made four saves for the Eagles.
