Area Track and Field: Eastern Washington and Idaho compete at Al Manual
Eastern Washington’s Erin Clark won the pole vault at the Al Manual meet in Missoula on Saturday with a mark of 12 feet, 6 inches. Dominique Butler came in second in the triple jump at 38-11.
Jonah Matthews placed second in the men’s 100 meters at 10.73 seconds. Chez Jackson ran the 200 in 22.48, good for second.
For Idaho, Mack Baxter won the 400 hurdles in 52.82. Drew Thompson won the 110 hurdles in 15.05, Nathan Stark took the 3,000 steeplechase in 9:27.79 and Kasin Pendergrass Anderson claimed the triple jump with a leap of 48-0.
Rechelle Meade earned a win for the Vandals women in the high jump as she cleared 5-8 3/4.
