Washington State’s Alexys Swedlund was named to the Women’s NIT all-tournament team on Saturday.
Swedlund averaged 18 points, six rebounds and 2.8 steals in the postseason for the Cougars, who won four games before losing to Georgia Tech in the semifinals.
She averaged over 38 minutes per game during WSU’s run and also finished the season with 75 3-pointers, a single-season school record.
