Two sought in fatal shooting of Yakima convenience store clerk

YAKIMA – Police in Yakima are searching for two people suspected in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old convenience store clerk.

The clerk, whose name has not been released, died shortly after he was taken to a local hospital early Thursday.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports that grainy store surveillance videos show two people wearing hoods and masks entering the store before 2 a.m.

The clerk’s death is the fifth homicide in Yakima this year.
