Off the Wall: Mariners unveils statue of Ken Griffey Jr., Snoop Dogg approves
Thu., April 13, 2017

In conjunction with the team’s 40th anniversary season, the Seattle Mariners unveiled a statue honoring the best player in the team’s history, Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr.
The statue was placed at the home plate gate and will be a really nice place for folks to meet before the game to check out the tribute to a player that meant so much to the team, the fans and baseball in the Pacific Northwest.
The dedication will take place on Friday before the game against the Texas Rangers, and fans will receive a replica of the Griffey statue.
And for some reason, Snoop Dogg was there to give his approval.
Good to see Snoop is a fan.
