Other offerings

During the week, Lindaman’s Bistro will feature two cocktails inspired by local authors who use that place as their office. Owner Merrilee Lindaman read Chris Howell’s book of poems, “Dreamless and Possible,” a year ago and loved it so much she carried it around in her purse until she got a copy of his latest book, “Lost’s Last Number.”

And, finally for the writer who sits at the same Lindaman’s table six days a week pounding laptop keys and decaf, and whose Pie and Whiskey piece from a few years ago provided a low-brow recipe, Merrilee came up with a drink for me. Kindly, generously, she says my writing is both whimsical and real. Lindaman’s will feature:

Chris Howell, “Love’s Last Number”

The Birds and the Bees

A split of Prosecco

1 ounce St. Germaine

Orange zest

Rachel Toor, “Misunderstood”

“SP&B – Sweet, Pink and Boozy!”

1 ounce Makers Mark

1/2 ounce cherry syrup

Top with 7UP

Garnish with marinated Queen Anne cherry
