Crave NW announces chef lineup: Jeremiah Tower will make a special appearance

Adam Hegsted and the crew putting together the inaugural Crave NW festival have announced the lineup for the event’s International Chefs Forum, a series of workshops by highly acclaimed chefs.

Jeremiah Tower, the subject of a new documentary produced by celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, is slated to make a special appearance. Tower, who’s credited – along with Alice Waters – with creating California cuisine, will give a presentation June 17 and be available to sign copies of his book “Start the Fire: How I Began a Food Revolution in America.”

Additional special guests are: Bruce Sherman of the Michelin-starred North Pond Restaurant in Chicago; Rick Moonen, owner of RM Seafood and r bar cafe in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas; Trevor Bird of Fable in Vancouver, British Columbia; Brian Duffy of Flying Fish Crafthouse in Philadelphia; and Mark Peel of Bombo, Los Angeles.

The first-time Crave NW fest takes place June 15-18 at CenterPlace Regional Event Center in Spokane Valley.
