UPDATED: Tue., Aug. 8, 2017, 5:44 p.m.

From staff reports

It took 43 minutes to distribute the 300 tickets available for U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ Town Hall meeting scheduled for Thursday.

The tickets were distributed through an event planning website. Those who got tickets still must show proof of residency within McMorris Rodgers’ 5th Congressional District at the door. Tickets became available at 10 a.m. Tuesday. They were gone at 10:43 a.m.

The congresswoman announced on Facebook over the weekend that she would host an event at Gonzaga University’s Cataldo Hall at 5 p.m. Thursday. The town hall will be televised on KSPS-TV’s World Channel, channel 7.2 via antenna and Comcast channel 313, and streamed live online.
