Four injured in hit-and-run collision near Stateline

Four people – including two teenagers – were injured Tuesday evening in a hit-and-run collision near Idaho Stateline.
A 1999 Mazda pickup truck driven by Richard Frazier, 41, crossed the center line while heading westbound 3 miles west of the state border, striking the driver’s side of a 2001 Dodge Ram driven by a 25-year-old female with two teenage passengers, according to a Washington State Patrol media release. A motorcyclist behind the Ram also lost control of his bike during the collision.
The three occupants of the Ram and the motorcyclist were transported to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene. The driver of the Ram and the motorcycle were treated and released. The condition of the two teens is unknown. Frazier was not injured.
Frazier attempted to leave the scene, troopers said, but was located and booked into Spokane County Jail. Troopers are recommending a charge of felony hit and run.
