Idaho football grants release to Gunnar Amos
Wed., Aug. 9, 2017

Former Coeur d’Alene standout Gunnar Amos, Idaho’s backup quarterback last season behind Matt Linehan, has been granted his release and is transferring to Idaho State, where he will be immediately eligible and will compete for the starting QB job.
Amos, a sophomore who had been moved from quarterback to safety last spring, is the second CdA quarterback to leave Idaho in recent years. Chad Chalich, who left Idaho after the 2014 season, completed his eligibility at Montana last year.
