Level 3 evacuations issued for wildfire in Grant County

Level three evacuation notices were issued near the town of Quincy Wednesday night as a rapidly shifting wildfire spread through the area.

State troopers and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office both repoted the incident, dubbed the Monument Hill Fire, to be in the area of Adams Road north of Road 13 Road J.8 northwest. Residents in the area were instructed to leave immediately; the rest of the public was warned to stay away.
