And now a word from state’s top political reporter, Betsy Russell

Betsy Russell, the long-time Eye on Boise blogger and Idaho Capitol reporter, checks in on my farewell tour:

I love the way he has his finger on the pulse of the community; he’s helped keep me informed from afar once I moved down to far-off Boise, and he’s been a fabulous resource. He blazed the trail of blogging at the S-R, and it’s been great fun to follow in his footsteps!”

DFO: When Betsy left the job as chief of the SR’s CdA bureau years ago, I told her that she would be recognized someday as the best political reporter in the state. Call me a prophet. She’s a superb colleague and friend.
