The Spokesman-Review has a reporting project in the works about citizens who request meetings with their senator or U.S. House member, and what they experience. Because Congress has exempted itself from the Freedom of Information Act, we can’t request records of meetings with constituents from our representatives, so we’re turning to crowd-sourcing to gather some data. Have you tried, successfully or unsuccessfully, to meet with your senator or representative?
