Trump, are you listening?

Another dark and tragic day in America took place in Charlottesville, Virginia. A large contingent of white nationalist/supremacists, neo-Nazis and KKK members who espouse vile hatred and racism toward Jews, people of color and others, gathered to incite violence. They bring a totally misguided ideology that is harmful and destructive. They aren’t patriots; they are dangerous domestic terrorists. They are a threat to the government and the citizens.

Remember Timothy McVeigh and the death and destruction he perpetrated following the same kind of ideology spewed in Charlottesville? Three people died because of these ignorant terrorists and their radicalized beliefs. It’s been reported this is the largest gathering of these people in a decade.

Many are strong Trump supporters; is this gathering just a coincidence with Trump in office and Steve Bannon being his adviser (at the time)? I would encourage citizens to research these groups, including the militia groups. Information and knowledge are power as citizens peacefully and intelligently protest these hate mongering groups. The Southern Poverty Law Center’s website has extensive information.

These terrorists are in our community and are dangerous. Their eradication should be a top priority for the federal government and for all citizens. Are you listening, President Trump?
