Motorcyclist seriously injured in motorcycle crash on I-90 in Lincoln County
A motorcyclist was airlifted to a Spokane hospital after being seriously injured in a one-vehicle collision on Interstate 90.
Jeff Sevigney, spokesman for the Washington State Patrol, said the motorcycle left the roadway at about 10 a.m. Wednesday near milepost 248, 8 miles west of the Spokane County line and crashed into the median while heading eastbound.
The driver of the motorcycle and a passenger were both ejected. At least one of them sustained serious injuries and was taken by Life Flight helicopter to a local hospital.
Sevigney said the left lane of I-90 eastbound will be closed for several hours as troopers investigate the collision.
There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
