Shooting reported at Ninth Avenue and Perry Street

A man was shot and wounded Tuesday night at the Hico at Ninth Avenue and Perry Street.

An altercation reportedly preceded the shooting around 9 p.m., according to a Spokane Police Department news release. The man’s injuries were not life threatening, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made, but police said they do not believe there is a threat to the community. Major Crimes detectives are investigating.
