Portland police search for suspect following stabbing death

PORTLAND, Ore. – Authorities in Portland are searching for a suspect following the stabbing death of a man in his 60s.
The Portland Police Department says the stabbing occurred at about 2 a.m. Saturday and the man died at about 5:45 a.m. after being transported to a hospital.
Police say the stabbing took place in an apartment and the victim ran for help.
Police say the suspect is in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, has short hair and is possibly wearing a hooded sweat shirt.
